Tess is the NSB Argent Whispers' de-facto captain who acts as the team's lead decision maker when the group cannot come to consensus. He is slow to anger, but often explosive when pushed. While he doesn't relish in causing suffering, he is known to often play tricks at the expense of others. He doesn’t covet much, but when something catches his fancy, he’ll pay nearly any price to make it his, then guard it fiercely against anyone who says otherwise.

Now he’s composed entirely of biomechanical nanite slurry, with extra tails formed from assimilated, agglomerated minds that buffer his consciousness from the implant’s survival urges, which drive him to consume any organic matter, people included, for fuel and repair. Under his lead, mercenary work keeps them afloat by trafficking in rare and extinct materials gathered throughout their adventures on the black market.
