After living her entire childhood on the Savulna cradle world, Erika left to follow her life-long dream of finding adventure amongst the stars. Her travels left her relegated to the role of a gofer for a corporate exploration team, underpaid and overworked as she was continually kept away from her dreams by the corporate grind. Too afraid to step out on her own and too deep in corporate debt to escape back home, she grew depressed and sought to end her life. However, after a chance meeting with Lear and Tess on the run, she took matters into her own hands and became a corporate fugitive in exchange for her freedom. Years later, she had another chance meeting with the crew of the Argent Whispers, and joined as a permanent member of the mercenary band.

Erika is driven by sounds. Her massive ears pick up the quietest whispers, and she is easily stunned and even harmed by intense volumes. To ameliorate this, she often wears a set of heavy-duty noise reducing earmuffs, which double as a music player. Despite her biologically quiet nature, she is lithe and mobile, synchronizing her movements to an invisible beat, though she rarely dances outright. Thanks to her high degree of motile dexterity, proficiency with movement-enhancing implants, and her fur's naturally high environmental hazard resistance, she makes an incredible scout.
